A promise to myself-My relections

Based on the seven habits profile I have completed, I observed that the three lowest scoring points are on the category of the similar issues. Category 2,4,5 portrays about issues that are lack of time management, lack of discipline, lack of concentration on the important activities and not proper organising of important tasks that have to be done for the day. For this three categories I scored a score of 10-11.


Therefore category 2, eg: consists of me maintaining an appropriate balance among the various aspects of my life-work, family and friends. I find it quite challenging to juggle between a few things.eg: working after school on alternate days as well as go for my driving lessons on weekend mornings and in the evenings church commitments. I really find it very tiring going through this cycle almost every week. As a result I work hard at things, but in manner which I burn out. I fall sick often as I neglect my meals as a result, I suffer from gastric.


I believe to be a more effective as person I should cut down my activities as I am not able to cope. Currently, I have stopped working. Hence forth I would be juggling between school, driving lessons and church. I hope to put first things first. Manage my time in a way that studies come first as I would be graduating soon eg: Create a time table for my revision and stick to it so that I would able to cover all the modules for my revision on time. Plan out a daily schedule before the day starts write down all the things that must be done and follow closely. I must be able to treat the issues as important and urgent for my success, which is to do well for my studies. I should also be proactive on my actions to ensure that I am responsible on my actions to have the initiative to make decisions for myself.

I should also sharpen the saw. I have to renew my mental aspect to be more positive about myself and to gain a understanding that whatever I do today would impact my tomorrow.eg Even if I do not score good grades for my UT1 grade I have to be more positive on my side and change the pattern of my revision and find out what when wrong and make sure that I will not repeat such mistakes again rather than getting demotivated and having a negative mind-set.

In conclusion, I really hope I would be able to carry out these steps to be an effective and positive person to be able to carry out my goals. :)
